As an American citizen, it is your right to be able to contact your elected officials. There are essentially three methods to contact your Representative or Senator, a phone call, an email, or a formal written letter.


Your first step is to determine who your elected officials are if you do not already know. Every person in America has three individuals representing them on capitol hill, 1 member in the House of Representatives and 2 members in the Senate. You can use these links to determine who represents you in Congress.
