AFSA Recognition Program

Recognizing our members who support AFSA's mission is critical to our success. From the simple pat on the back to our formal awards process, we must make sure those who support the organization are recognized for their hard work.

The 2020 Recognition Program is currently underway and suspense for all award submissions to AFSA Division 3 is 12 February 2021.

Please do not rely on previous years award submissions to format your awards this year. Please refer to the individual page for each award for specifics and use AFSA Manual 100-5 to address award specifics.

2020 Awards Schedule

  • 07 December 2020 – Division Website Updated with 2020 Award Information
  • 07 December 2020 - Award Email to Chapter Presidents
  • 15 December 2020 – Chapter President provides the Division awards POC (VP Bamburg) the names and contact information for Chapter awards POC
  • 15 January 2021 – Division Awards POC will provide login credentials for each Chapter awards POC for file uploads
  • 12 February 2021 – Chapter Suspense for all awards to be submitted to the Division Awards POC (packages MUST BE COMPLETE...NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • 19 February 2021 – Confirmation to Chapter awards POC for all awards the Division shows as submitted
  • 24 February 2021 – Chapter awards POC confirms submissions/works with Division to resolve errors
  • 26 February 2021 – Award Nominations pushed to board members
  • 12 March 2021 – Score sheets returned to Division awards POC
  • 26 March 2021 – Award Winner information given to Division President
  • 01 April - D3 Award Winner Packages due to HQ AFSA
  • TBD – Division 3 PAC (All award nominees recognized and award winners received memento).
