AFSA Division 3 Scholarship Program

Questions asked in this process are designed to collect information about your background and plans. Your answers to these questions will be used only in connection with your Application for this scholarship program and will be divulged to qualified persons who must see them in the course of their duties. The selection of scholarship recipients will be influenced by completeness of replies, neatness and legibility. Please type or print, using black ink.

All applicants must include a copy of their High School/College Transcript, and a letter of Recommendation from their Counselor/Advisor. Scholarship awards are non-transferable. Scholarships are not automatically renewable. Students must re-apply every year.


Scholarships are not made as cash awards to students; the awards will be deposited with the chosen school to be used as tuition or to cover other college expenses. One $500.00 scholarships will be awarded.


To be eligible the applicant must not be on active duty. They must be a child or grandchild of a member of the AFSA and sponsored by a member in good standing.


Applicants, please review all requirements to be presented with your application. Incomplete packages will not be considered.
