Hello one and all—

Hope you are enjoying summer.We had some 90’s the other day and now it is in the upper 60’s.That is summer in Wisconsin.

CHAPTER 804

V A Hosp.--5 members volunteered 147 Hrs. Thank you card from Wounded Vets.On the 7th Wanda Kiefer and Barbara Gregory volunteered 4 hrs. each at Belton museum. The 14th 8 members cut coupons. Wanda Kiefer sent 1ooo stamps to Wounded Vets. Sad day for AFSA, Addy Davidson passed. She was a member for life.She will be missed by everyone.Charity card game raised $410.00. On the 24th monthly Luncheon and 10 members attended.We raised $ 3.50 for 1/2 &1/2 and Kathy Oden won the 1/2&1/2, Marty Stevenson won $5.00 for Bingo Blackout. Helen Hatz volunteered 12 hrs. at St. Micheal's and 4 hrs. placing wreath at Harry Truman's grave. Susan Kiep volunteered 25 hrs. at St. Micheal's.On the 14th we raised $6.00 for AFEV. Had 5 volunteers work a total of 45 hours at the American Legion Auxiliary Craft Fair on May 19th. Also we lost Helen O'Roark, another Life Member on May 13th.

CHAPTER 851

5/5/18 – delivered 56 packs of popcorn snacks estimated value of $320.00 to the 128th ANGReceived two cases of donated clothing to be given to the homeless vetsReceived a $20.00 donation to be used for Family and Community Services5/13/18 delivered two cases of donated clothing to the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Services estimated value of $100.005/16/18 Picked up 12 cases of Girl Scout cookies and travel size toiletries from Support the Troops5/23/18 donated 6 cases (12 boxes each) of various Girl Scout cookies and travel size toiletries to Kansasville AMVETS with an estimated value of $430.00Reported Volunteer hours– Sue Metzger – 14 hours andRon Long—5 hours

CHAPTER 984

I am sending you our first report – despite no concluded activity yet.

We are hosting a playdate for members and family members later this month and I will report back after the event.I wanted to let you know that events have been planned and we are excited to start off.
