Family Matters Update

Hope this finds everyone in good health!

Here is the latest and greatest on the status of our Summer Projects –

804 – Membership Drive on August 27-28. Materials have been received to be handed out at the Air Show in St. Joseph, MO. Family and Chapter Members have volunteered for this event and pictures will be posted on Facebook.

872 – Still waiting to hear back from MSgt Erin Clark on the status of their Pool Party and Drive-In Movie Night.

959 – On July 30th, this Chapter is offering Free Lawn Service for deployed/single/needy families. Also, hosting a Welcome Home Event where the families are getting together to welcome home deployed members. They are proposing to have a Family Night at their Club on base. The Chapter will be offering a FREE dinner and asking for donations to the Airman’s Attic. The Chapter will also provide a pickup service base-wide so families can donate.

985 – This Chapter is hosting a Member’s Appreciation Night on July 28th at the base bowling alley.

988 – This Chapter hosted a 4 th of July AFSA Booth/Rock Wall where snow cones were provided to all and free fans given to the Family Members.

On July 7th, I sent separate emails to the Family Matters chairpersons for Chapters 851, 881, 984 and 990. To date, I have not received any response. I look forward to hearing from you soon regarding your Summer Project plans involving Family Members.

Emails went out today to Chapters 951, 964 and 972.
